Prince Hamlet, Jedi Knight

MAY the Bard be with you!

Star Wars has been given a Shakespearean re-write to help young people get to grips with the work of Stratford's famous son.
American author Ian Doescher has penned William Shakespeare's Star Wars - giving the Star Wars story an iambic pentameter makeover - in bid to help 21st century youngsters tune into the 16th and 17th century stylings of the Bard.
Mr Doescher said: "Shakespeare has a reputation for being rather elite. I think young people see unfamiliar words like fardels and codpiece and assume they won't be able to do it.
